Canada Day, 4th of July, & Colt is 2 months!

What a busy weekend we had! Friday the 1st was Canada Day, Matt worked of course, but I spent the day running around and even took the kids to a BBQ we were invited to. Came home and packed everyone up for the weekend at Grandmas. So that night, we left the kids with Grandma and Matt and I went out dancing! Yep, my husband took me dancing! We had a BLAST!

Saturday the 2nd was the annual AWC (American Women's Club of Springbank) 4th of July party at the ranch! I made all the the girls have a nap so they would last the whole night. They did awesome, other than Kodie wandering off a few times. This was the first year in years that we were able to stay for the fireworks! The girls loved them. It's so fun to have a day to celebrate my country.

Colt turned 2 months on Saturday. He went in yesterday for his 2 month vaccinations :( My little love bug is turning into quite the chunky monkey!

He's doing great! He seriously is the best baby ever! He seriously NEVER cries! He is the sweetest boy, I am just so in love with him! Couldn't and wouldn't want any other! He is my little love bug!

Ha ha ha, this one just makes me laugh! Everytime I took a picture, his eyes would get so wide!

Fathers Day 2011

The kids and I woke up and made Daddy one of his favorite breakfasts, Biscuits and Gravy. The girls loved rolling the dough into balls. The day before the girls made a poster for him and some sugar cookies cut out in the shape of their hands.
We spent the day out at Matt's parents house, and had a good Fathers day dinner. That is about it. Sorry for the boring post, but my Mom wanted to see the pics of the cookies so that is what this post was mainly for. Enjoy!

Not so little anymore!

Today was Colts 6 week check up. My oh my does time ever fly! But seriously based on how huge he is I feel like he should be 3 months already. (maybe because he wears 3 month clothes). He is such a good baby, I couldn't ask for a better little buddy. I just love him! He is the cutest little boy in the world, and I am not just being bias, he really is! Anyway here are his stats in comparison:

He is in the 90th% for both height and weight. No worries for this little man. He's growing like a weed, a very cute weed!

Ok, so it has been forever since I last updated, but it wasn't my fault. My computer is dying and wouldn't let me post; believe me I tried!
So here is the info on my new handsome little man.

He is seriously the cutest little boy ever! The girls just love him(A bit too much I'm afraid).
The birth was, well not as planned to put it lightly. Kodie came within 2 hours of getting to the hospital. I had no medication with her and LOVED it. I was totally a natural childbirth advocate. This has since changed!
We went into this labor thinking it was going to be fast like Kodie, we were SO wrong! Labor started around 3 in the afternoon, so wanting to get to the hospital in time we left around 5ish. Got to the hospital around 6pm and thus began the labor. (if you look above he wasn't born until 11:49pm). So again, thinking it was going to be fast, we opted for another non medicated birth. Things seemed to progress fairly quickly until I reached an 8! Then I was just stuck there FOREVER! I literally thought I was going to DIE! It was awful, I was so tired, and after every contraction I just wanted to pass out! So not only was I stuck at an 8 I felt I had to push, but was not allowed to because my cervix wasn't ready (an 8). It's really hard to try and fight the urge to push when your body wants too. So it was like 10pm and the nurses said "ok, Heather, it's almost 10pm I bet you'll have this baby today" I'm thinking are you serious that is still like 2 hours away, I could still be doing this for 2 more hours! I was screaming to just get him out I was DONE! Finally after our amazing midwife literally lifted the rest of the cervix up and over this head I was allowed to push. He just didn't want to come out. I pushed forever and so hard that I broke blood vessels all over my face. I looked like a monster it was awful, but I just really wanted him out. I got so desperate I even just told them to cut me open and take him out, then I opted for them to just pull him out. I just didn't have the energy to do it anymore. Then finally when all hope was lost, he was here! He was so beautiful, and totally worth it (although at the time I was seriously doubting it).
Colt has been such a great baby, I can't imagine not having him in our lives.
This was the short version, I just don't have the time to drag it out.

9 weeks 6 days.....but whos counting!

Had my check up today with the doc. Currently we are sitting at 9 weeks 6 days or 69 days left until due date! Yay! Baby is happy and sounds healthy. Good to know that despite my horrendous sickness baby is perfectly content in his little water sac!
Doc took a listen to my insides just to make sure all was clear and it was! Yay, no pneumonia or bronchitis!
The doc did say it would probably take a while to get rid of (it's been a week already), and there is not much I can do about it! Ah well, at least baby it happy!
So, I'm off to try and get some rest!

I think I need to invent an adult diaper for pregnant women, especially those with a cough! I swear I have peed my pants a total of 7x just today. It's always just a little bit, but it is becoming very annoying! Everytime I cough I wonder what is going to happen, either I cough and hurt my throat even more, or I cough and pee, or I cough so hard I break my water!( it has happened I read about it) Anyway, I thought I would let ya all know I pee my pants, and I am not affraid to admit it!(although this will not be a facebook status). So off I go to change my pants yet again!

Quarantine!

Monday, late afternoon, Kwynns right eye started to get 'goopy'. Tuesday morning, after a long night involving yet another night terror, Kwynns eye was 'goopy' and RED. She was complaining of her cheek and ear hurting(I assumed the cheek was hurting because the ear was hurting), and she was BOILING! I called the doc to see if they could get her in....or course they couldn't until the week of the 28th! ARE YOU SERIOUS! So I decided to battle the horrid walk in clinic to find relief for my little girl.
Diagnosis: Pink Eye & Ear Infection!
She is on an antibiotic for her ear, Tylenol for her fever, and eye drops for her eye. Antibiotic 2x a day for 10 days and eye drops 3x a day for 7! Did I mention she HATES the eye drops! Brutal, and yes I have to give them to her 3x A DAY! You'd think I was trying to drown her the way she acts about it, but the funny thing is she says it doesn't hurt! THEN WHY THE FREAK OUT! Keeping everything washed and sanitized, in hopes of preventing the spread of the pink eye!
So while we waited (1 1/2 hours) at the walk in clinic, both Kodie and I got something. Kodie has watery eyes and a runny nose. I have an awful dry cough, which is now making my throat hurt! Ugh!!!! Can't do much about anything when you are preggo!
So yes, we are and have been QUARANTINED since Tuesday! Good thing it is SO COLD outside, makes me NOT want to go anywhere even if I could!

Christmas and other randoms 2011!

So I am now finally getting to Christmas! We had a great Christmas; we spent it out in Cochrane at Matt's parents house. We had the parents, Rach and Dave with their 2 kids and me and Matt and our two, and even Grandma Chodynicki joined in the fun. Oh and we also had a Jordan who spent Christmas with us. Jordan is from the Philippines where Dave served his mission. He has spent the last few years working here while his family is in the Philippines. So we added him to our family for Christmas, I think it probably made him miss is own, but at least he wasn't alone! (I think his family will finally be able to join him here soon)

Santa came Christmas Eve for a quick visit to give the kids a little pre gift before the morning! My girls LOVE Santa!

The girls made gingerbread houses, went on a scavenger hunt and just had a blast running around Grandmas house! So needless to say Christmas was great, so here is a picture overload for you all! We had the incredible opportunity to attend a baptism of one of Matt's close friends. His name is Ryan Pauls, but Matt calls him R.P. What a great inspiration he is. He made the decision to be baptised and was [baptised] on Saturday the 29th of January. I have never been to a baptism where I felt the spirit that strong in my life! I literally cried from start to finish (which I guess isn't really that weird for me). There was such a feeling of joy and love that was overwhelming. Ryan truly believes and shows such and excitement about the church, that he is truly an inspiration to me. He makes me want to be a better member of the church and to show that same type of enthusiasm about it. It gets hard sometimes when life takes over, to think about what really matters. All I can do is try a little harder. Thank you Ryan for sharing your awesome spirit with me and my family.

Matt was asked to speak at the baptism; The topic he was given was the Holy Ghost. There were a few non members at the baptism so he tried to make it simple and not to overwhelm or confuse anyone. He did such an amazing job(of course I cried the whole time). It was just another chance for me to see the amazing testimony my husband has. I love him so much and am grateful for his testimony, and I am grateful for the opportunities when I get to hear and feel the love that he has for this gospel. I am so proud of him in every way. This is the 2nd time he has become friends with someone, and has helped lead them to baptism. He is such a great example of how to me a missionary in your everyday life. I just love, respect, admire, and did I mention love him so much. Thank you My Love for being all that you are, I wouldn't and couldn't ask for anything more.

What joy the Gospel brings! I am so grateful to be able to feel and recognize the spirit when it is around. I am grateful for this gospel and the things it teaches me. I am grateful to have a husband who has a strong testimony, who holds the priesthood and honors it. I am grateful for baptism and for the atonement of Christ, and for the opportunity they both bring for us to be able to be with our Heavenly Father again.

I hope you all can feel these feeling one day if you haven't already. There really is joy and peace to be had.

So my mom encouraged me to write down the cute things my girls say. So what better place then the blog to share it with all of you too!

Kwynn:

Kwynn says: "That's my family, they are coming to see me.
Me: They live with Jesus in heaven, so someday you will be able to see them.
Kwynn: Jesus lives in the cold weather
Me: Oh he does?
Kwynn: He lives high in the clouds, and we don't have a ship to get their.
Me: Oh
Kwynn: Maybe we can grow a bean stalk to climb up to get their. But first you have to get some seeds at the grocery store!"
Me: Oh is that what we need to do?
Kwynn: Ya, I will plant them and I can climb it.

I just love her, she is so funny!

I just asked Kodie if it was nap time cause she was being a little ornery. She said:
"No Mom, it's not dark, it's not dark Mom"! he he She is too funny!

That's what I got for today so far, but it's only 2:00 so maybe you'll get a little more!

Kwynn made this little masterpiece out of a grocery bag and said she wanted to wear this for Halloween! She is so funny!At our ward Trunk or Treat! Kodie won cutest costume for ages 0-2!Apparently Kwynn was tired from all the festivities the night before. She has always loved getting into small spaces. She made herself a little bed and layed in it to watch a Halloween movie and..........fell asleep! Man I love this little girl!Well, I hope you enjoyed the pics of my cute kids. I will try and be better at posting events closer to the actual date!

Ok, so it has been awhile, I haven't even had time to post Kodie's 2nd birthday yet! I'll get to it I promise! But first........dum dum dum drum roll please........

May 4th 2011 our little Jensen family will be 1 bigger! Yep thats right folks we are having baby #3!

We are so excited, a little nervous, but thrilled!

Can't wait to see what this little bundle of joy brings to our family!

Kwynn celebrated her 3rd birthday on the 20th. We had her party on the 16 while my parents were here. She had lots of fun.

She told me she wanted a Pony cake. This is is what she got. Pretty cute if I do say so myself! Ha ha.

Matt brought some horses over for Kwynn! She loves horses! She had so much fun riding them!

WOW! It's been awhile!

So pretty much I suck at blogging lately I haven't posted since Easter! What the! So much has gone on since then, maybe I've just been too busy who knows! Well here is the 1st post of 2 ya I said 2!

In May I packed up the kids and headed on down to Utah! The kids had a lot of fun! We went to the zoo, and we slept in the trailer parked next to my parents house! The kids loved that! I went blonde, yes I said BLONDE! It was an all around good trip.

We celebrated the 4th of July at John's cabin. Just like the last few years we didn't stay for fireworks. They don't start until like 11ish and the kids were tired! But we had a great time anyway.

I also went to Young Womens camp this year! What a blast! Lets see, we did archery, zipline, rock climbing and repelling, paintball, a giant slip and slide and jumped into a freezing cold dam at midnight!

Turns out I am pretty awesome at archery! I got so confident that I decided to try left handed archery.........that didn't turn out so well! I know there are more pics of me at girls camp, I just don't have any of them yet....I will post them when I get them!

Yes, I am FINALLY posting Easter! We had a great time the kids just loved finding the eggs this year. NO I didn't colour eggs with the kids, I'm just not that brave yet! Maybe next year! Here are a few pics of our Easter!

I finally found Kwynn's cowboy boots! They don't fit her anymore, but they also don't fit Kodie. They are 2 sizes too big, but she HAD to where them anyway! Oh and Kwynn thinks this shirt is a dress, therefore she WOULDN'T where pants!

OK, so I'd better right this down before I forget it. Last night Matt and I watched The Blindside great movie btw, anyway, it didn't get over until like 11:00 so by the time I made it to bed it was around 11:30 or so. So I am happy in dreamland and all of a sudden I am on the floor hurting really bad! Here is what happened: MY DREAM:

I was lying in bed not really asleep, but with my eyes closed(this is my dream remember) and I happened to open my eyes just a little bit and this huge spider (I'm talking the body as big as my fist, and then the legs) came running across the bed, at my head! (dream remember) So I jumped towards the bottom of the bed when WHAM! I wake up delirious on my hands and knees on the floor! I couldn't figure out what on earth had just happened. I was so dead asleep, I just couldn't wrap my head around it. So Matt comes in a few minutes later ( he was up watching another movie) and asks if I heard that big bang! Ya, that big bang was me! I guess he checked both the kids' rooms and they were still asleep (obviously he thought it was one of them, but alas it was not). So I told him what happened to the best of my delirious knowledge, and then went back to sleep. So this morning my whole body hurts! It is quite a fall when you are so dead asleep! My neck hurts, my arm hurts, (when I woke up on the floor my arm was hurting, I think I caught myself with my arm. Ouch) and just about everything else, WHOA what a night!

But I couldn't stop laughing when I recalled it this morning. I told Matt it was too bad it wasn't recorded, I would have loved to see that on film! Hope you got a good laugh from this, I sure did!

Today was COLD! What is with this country! Such a nice day yesterday then today I don't think I even saw the sun! Oh well.

Kwynn had dance class this morning which for some reason she just won't dance when we are there. She'll dance at home and talk about dancing at home but once we are at dance she just won't do it. It is better now that I have people willing to watch Kodie for me (thanks Tiffany and Keri) But I think I might have to order a costume to dance in the recital with her. She won't do anything with out me doing it too. Argh!

I made a homemade (including the crust) mushroom pizza for dinner. It was way good! But I've learned now that when they say line the pan with parchment paper they don't mean 'if you don't have it use wax paper instead'! Unfortunately I learned this the hard way. I had wax paper stuck to the bottom of the crust. Fortunately I was able to peel it off all the pieces except for one. So now I know!

Went to Young womens tonight it was a combined ym/yw. Ym were in charge, need I say more! They planned an amazing race game using scriptures to find clues. Ended up that the clue we found had a scripture attached that was for the clue we were just at! It was messed up! We had a cheat sheet, so pretty much we had to use that to find our next clues! But we had fun nonetheless! I love my girls!

I got home and Matt said Kwynn has something to show you. I walk over to her and she shows me her mini my little ponies. I've had these ponies in a bowl for months waiting for her to poop on the potty. SHE POOPED! She told Matt she needed to go potty, so Matt said ok go (he was putting Kodie to bed). She came running in and said I did it Dad I need my ponies now! Matt went to the toilet and she had flushed it so he wasn't sure if she even really did poop. So he spread her little cheaks and saw poop! I am so proud of her for finally doing it! And she did it on her own too! I am so PROUD! I hope it sticks!

What a day! Overall it was pretty good!

Today was a cloudy gloomy day, which made it hard not to be depressed! But we are looking for the positive things of the day right?!?! Ok lets see..................................................................

Well, lets start with the things I am grateful for. I am so grateful for my kids' health! I read a blog a few days ago about a ladies son who has cancer, these posts just made me cry, and wonder if I would even be able to post let alone make it through something like that. I guess posting would be a way to 'get it all out'. Ah I love my girls, and want them to have the best lives possible.

So lets see today I folded a few baskets of laundry and I actually put them away! Which made it easier for me to get Kwynn a new pair of panties when she piddled on the others. Still can't get her to poop on the toilet, and lately she doesn't even want to poop in a pull-up, I have to put one of Kodie's diapers on her. What a weirdo!
Kwynn says the funniest things, yesterday she was standing next to Matt and put out her hand and said 'nice to meet you', and shook his hand! Ha Ha I laughed so hard. She always makes my day. "I'm glad your here mom', or I'm so proud of you mom', or 'oh thanks for helping me mom' She is such a joy!

Now for little bear bear, she is a bit feisty these days, but a sweetheart none the less. Always gives kisses if you ask for them, and sometimes when you don't (those are my favorite).

Oh yeah, back to today, well again it was a depressing, and uneventful day, so I'll just leave this day alone, and start new tomorrow! It's easier to find the positives when you start out your day looking for them!

THE GIRL WHO LIVED!

So as I was searching pics for the mullets( the next post ) I came across these that I forgot to post.

While in the other house, Kodie and Kwynn were playing in the basement. They would run through the small space between the deep freeze and the hot water tank. Kodie fell and hit her head on the bottom spout of the water tank! I was upstairs and Kwynn came running up crying. Matt came up with Kodie (he was down with the girls) and told me when Kwynn saw the blood she started freaking out! (so I guess no medical profession for her). Anyway she now has a little scar on her forhead. We call her 'Kodie Jensen: The girl who lived'!

MULLETS?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

So today I finally cut off the mullets my girls had! I kept Kwynn's because it was long, and it was easy to put up for ballet class. With Kodie's mullet I was able to put in cute little piggies! Which made her look more like the cute little toddler she is. So anyway, here are a few pics of the MULLETS and after! Enjoy!!!

So I'm finding myself feeling quite melancholy today. I received a phone call early (midnight-1am ish) this morning from my oldest sister letting me know my Dad was in an accident! All she could tell me was that he was awake and coherent, not too comforting at 1 am to say the least. Then a few short hours later or so (when you've been woke up this early things just feel like dreams come normal time) she called again to say he was ok they are doing tests but he is ok. At around 7 this morning I decided to call my Mom to see what was going on. Here is the story: My Dad was driving from Ely Nevada to a hotel he had my Mom book for him in Beaver Utah. He was driving at night and missed the turn off t0 the road he wanted to take, so he ended up having to take the longer route t0 Beaver instead. He was supposed to be at the hotel in Beaver around 8:30 or 9:00. My Mom hadn't heard from him so decided at 9 to call. She got no answer and started to worry. She phoned the hotel and he hadn't checked in! My Mom soon phoned the police who got in touch with the dispatch and phoned the Nevada police as well. They had patrols looking for him. Since he missed that original turn off he wasn't on the road my Mom thought he would be. All he remembers is waking up in the helicopter! I am quite grateful for that, I can only image how scary it would be to be awake during the whole thing! So anyway, turns out he fell asleep while driving, and rolled his truck! No one else was involved (thank goodness). It took them 1/2 hour(if I remember correctly) to get him out of the truck (again he was unconscious the whole time). Life flight took him to University of Utah hospital. Luckily he was wearing his seat belt, which saved him from a lot worse injuries than he had. He sustained some lacerations across the top of his head. They have him hooked up to something to drain the blood. He dislocated his shoulder which they put back in place. They are doing the x- rays and CAT scan again to make sure everything is ok.

Feeling so blessed that he is ok! Feeling very sad that I am so far away! Feeling love for him and all my family!

On a positive note, my Dad has always wanted to ride in a helicopter he finally had that opportunity, although I'm sure this wasn't the circumstances in which he wanted this experience. But we are thinking of the positives right?!?!?!?!?! LOVE YOU DADDY!

So I have decided that I am not going to wait until the end of the day to post this. If I have more to say I will but for now this is it! ~

Snow Snow Snow!

Ok, so this morning we woke up to SNOW! Just when I was thinking spring was on it's way! I'm still working on the positive of this. Anyhow, Kwynn had dance class this morning, and it really didn't go well at all. The girls are still getting used to the house and are not sleeping well. I don't think Kodie is even staying in her bed at night, and they are waking up at 5 and 6 in the morning! So needless to say they were tired at 10:00 (which is the time dance class starts).

Because of the snow, I had to go to McKerrell way and shovel the walk and drive way before our inspection at 2. Positives: The kids fell asleep in the car on the way home from dance, so I left them in the car (with it running of course) while it shoveled the walk. They got an uninterrupted nap. And I guess I was building up some muscle while shoveling and getting a little exercise in as well, so that can be a positive.

Went and had the inspection......all was well! Good thing too it took me 2 days to clean (I only had 1 friend come and help). Did my meter readings, which I have never done before, so I hope I did what I needed to do. Positive: All done with the move completely, no more staying up at night thinking about what needs to be done!

Matt's day was good, again he said is favorite and best part of his day was the end of it. Being positive he said that he had another pretty good day, they set more tile today then yesterday. He's just happy to be home!

The girls didn't have much to say. When I asked Kwynn she talked about things we didn't even do today! She is so funny! Hopefully tomorrow we can do something fun for her to talk about.

Funny moment today: Kwynn was vacuuming and I was looking at her. She turned the vacuum off and asked me "what". So funny what they will pick up!

My first post on the new Jensen Family Blog! So over dinner I asked Matt and the girls what their best part of the day was:
Matt: The End! Then he said that work was pretty good today and the guy he is training to replace him was pretty cool.
Kwynn: Ya, Party with my ha ha part (that is how she say's heart, I'm always saying it's ha ha heart and she say's 'ya, ha ha part) She is so funny. So when I said 'part' of the day she thought i was talking about a party . Then she moved on from heart to Valentines day, which she say's Balentines! Gotta love her!
Kodie: Just looked at me and smiled! That was good enough for me!
Heather: As for me, watching the girls pretend to vacuum! They love this new central vac!

I then asked them what they were grateful for or appreciated today:
Matt: The end of the day! (we'll work on that)
Kwynn: Kept on talking about Balentines day!
Kodie: Again with the smiles and "k"
Heather: As for me, I am grateful for a loving, hardworking husband who loves me and our kids. I am grateful for two wonderful kids (although they are still adjusting to the move so that has been interesting) I love them so much, and hope that they always know and feel it!

Our new blog!

So I've been thinking lately that I want my blog to mean more to me and to those who may read it. From something my Mom gave us for Christmas this year came this idea:

The Jensen Family Blog is now going to focus on things we are grateful for. We will have a daily post of the days events and the positive things that occurred.

Focusing on the positive and happy events of the day will help us in becoming a closer more loving family as well as more positive and happy individuals.

I will be writing the posts and will be asking the girls and Matt each night what they were grateful for or appreciated that day. I'm sure the girls will have some interesting things to say, but it will teach them to look for the positive things in their lives!

Christmas in Utah!

Ok, so I know it is now February, but this is my Christmas blog. We spent Christmas in Utah with my family. The drive was actually quite nice, we left at 5:30 in the morning, and arrived in Syracuse at 6:00pm. Not bad time with two kids! We invested in a portable DVD player for the car. Best purchase ever made! Movies + food = good kids!

Anyway we spent 2 weeks in Utah and really had a hard time leaving. Planning for summer/fall already! Miss you all and LOVE you so much! See you soon!

Last night I went to our wards Relief Society Christmas party. I left Matt home with the girls of course, and our friend Brandon came over (since his wife was with me)to hang out. When I got home this is what Matt showed me! I only saw these photos which is probably for the best. They had it all cleaned up by the time I got home.

Another Halloween has come and gone! We had a great time, and the kids loved it! I was able to dress up 3 times this year, 1st for young women, 2nd for a stake party, and 3rd for Halloween itself. I LOVE Halloween! Here are the pics of our super cute kiddies, Matt, and of course my totally awesome or should I say 'GROOVY' costume. ENJOY!!!!!!!

Yesterday we celebrated Kodies birthday. I can't believe my baby is 1!!!! We had such a great day. We decided to have a potluck dinner and invited a few friends and family over. Kodie had a lot of fun and got tonz of great gifts not to mention super cute gifts. Thanks everyone for making my little Kodie bears day so wonderful. (wish my fam could have been here)

Oh, and yes, I made this awesome fantastic cutest cake ever!!!( with a little help and guidance from my good friend Marisa) She made the bow, but everything else was pretty much me. I'm talented I know. (ha ha ha ha lol)

Today is our 5th anniversary! Ya, I know, where has the time gone? Anyway, I just wanted to let you all know how much I love Matt. He is such a great person, husband, father etc..... He works so hard for us and still takes the time to help me out with the cleaning. I love you so much and hope that you always know it. Looking forward to another 5 years, who knows what life will bring us.

Our day at the Zoo!

Yesterday we went to the Calgary Zoo! It was Kwynn and Kodies first time at any Zoo! My friend Kalli went with us. Kwynn of course loved the animals, while Kodie was just happy to be out and about! We had a wonderful time at the Zoo!

Saturday we took the kids to the ranch and went horseback riding. Kwynn LOVES horses! It was a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon!

Jensen Reunion 2009

We had the Jensen Family Reunion this weekend in Cardston (its about a 2 hour drive south of Calgary, just a few miles from the U.S. border) Everytime we go to Cardston I joke with Matt and tell him we should just keep going! Half joke half not!
Anyway, at this reunion families from Cardston put together family softball teams and play in a tournament against other families.
So on the way down to Cardston we got a flat tire! The jack was underneath the kids' carseats so we had to pull them out, and to get Kwynns carseat out(it latches in the back of the car, we had to pull all our stuff out of the back, so here we were stuff strung out in the ditch kids sitting in the ditch and Matt underneath the car.....so needless to say Matt was upset.
They had their first softball game that night at 7:30....we got their at 7:30. So once that was over we got the his Aunt and Uncles little (old skool) trailer that we were staying for the night........Kwynn slept great.....Kodie not so much, we were lucky if we got an hour and a half of sleep the whole night! Not exaggerating either! She isn't used to sleeping anywhere except her crib. So we go up at 7 of course right, and had the first ball game of the day at 9:00am. That went until about 10:30 or so and the Cardston parade started at 11:00 so we went to that. The guys didn't even have time to eat lunch the next game started at 1:00pm. Then they played consecutive games from 1:00 to 8:00-8:30. So dinner was at like 9:00 and we left Cardston at 10:00pm (i had to teach a lesson on Sunday, thank goodness i did not want to have another sleepless night in that trailer)! We got home at midnight and of course Sunday morning kids are up at 7:00am......I think Kodie was just hungry.....she fell asleep on the floor a couple of hours later(she never does that).
We all had a great time can't wait until next year, and maybe then I'll be brave enough to embarrass myself and play in the tournament.....we will see!

Kwynn is 2!!!!! (well on the 20th she was) I can't even believe it. She had a Tinker bell/ Princess party on Saturday the 18th. And on the 20th we had a family home evening softball game with some other families in the ward. We had a good time. Sorry it's sooooo long.....but we had tonz of pics so it could have been longer!!!! Here they are:

The Past Five Years!

Ok, so i have a few friends that I've re connected with lately. Most of which i haven't' seen or spoken to in 4 or 5 years. How do you catch up on that many years? Lets see how i do .....................

Matt and I were married September 24 2004; what a beautiful day it was. We decided to start our lives in St George Utah.
September 24 2005 we were sealed in the St George Utah Temple......What a wonderful day that was for us and our future family!
We lived in St George for 3 years, working and playing. I miss St George!
July 20 2007 came our first little angel Kwynn Christina Jensen. 7 lbs 1 oz When i found out i was pregnant i was a little surprised....we wanted to try but it came sooner then we had expected. I guess I'm pretty fertile or Matt has super sperm. Anyway i wanted to have a non medicated birth with Kwynn. I tried and tried, but Kwynns labor was LOOOOONG. I reached 7 cm and i was done! I lost concentration and it was all over then! But she came and was healthy and beautiful. She was severely tongue tied all the way to the end of her tongue. She couldn't nurse and even had a hard time from a bottle. She has a forked tongue to this day....CUTE!

Kwynn was three months old when we had to move to Canada. I was pretty excited about it (at first) somewhere new....how fun! Well, i didn't realize how much i would miss my family....especially my sisters.....i get homesick a lot. but i make do.

Kwynn was five months old when i found out i was PREGNANT! What the! Was my reaction, i didn't know what to do....we were still living with Matt's parents. But soon i was so excited that the lord blessed me with another angel.

October 1 2008 along came Kodie Avon Jensen. 6 lbs 14 oz.
Now i wanted to try the un-medicated way again in hopes i would get my ideal birthing experience. Well my prayers were answered. NO MEDS! Kodie was born within two hours from us getting to the hospital. We forgot the camera and i thought that Matt would have enough time to go back and get it (basing this on Kwynns birth) but as you read two hours....that was not enough time. I can honestly say that having a non medicated natural birth was far greater experience for me. I felt soooo much better afterward and i was pretty proud of myself for doing it. Again it was only two hours....i think i was blessed in that way!

Matt and I are so blessed to have our two little girls! Kwynn is now almost 2 (July) and kodie will be 8 months on the 1st of June. We are so happy with our little family, and couldn't ask for more......
(I guess i could ask for more...........my sisters perhaps!)

Anyway that's the major events in the last 4 to 5 years hope i did an ok job at catching up...............

So, in case you can't tell, I'm a little new at this blogging thing, so bear with me. So whats new huh? Well Kwynn had a horrible reaction to Ammoxicillin. Poor thing just broke out in hives and her entire face was swollen. She looked like one of those 300 pound five year olds you see on talk shows. She was soooo itchy it made me so sad.

Kwynn was on the meds for Strep which everyone except me ended up getting, it started with Matt, the doctor said his throat looked like it went through a meat grinder, gross i know. Anyway so i guess i was the lucky one.
